| Certain chat commands can be used to send a private message to a single player. To send a private message, use the command /msg. Here's how it works:
/msg ExtremeJoe Hey! Private messaging is great!
Would send the message "Hey! Private messaging is great!" to the user ExtremeJoe. Note that if the recipient has spaces in his or her name, you'll need to replace them with underscores in order to send a private message. You can also use the recipient's playerid in place of his or her name.
/whisper, /w, and /tell are also synonyms for /msg.
/r message (or /reply) will reply to your last received private message.
/v message (or /conv) will reply to the last person to whom you sent a message. This command is somewhat superior to /r, because it enables you to control where the message is sent.
/last will show you the last 10 private messages sent to you. documentation home |
